A camel and a llama in rural France

We were out for a bimble in the car with our English visitor today and suddenly coming into the beginnings of a place called Vicq sur Nahon, we came across a camel and a llama in a piece of common land with a circus complex behind. What a bizarre happening for us Brits who are so used to not seeing animals from far off places except in zoos and even then there is disquiet. So we enjoyed the view and passed along.......

Thanks for this vignette! It reminds me of when the circus would come to town in Vevey, Switzerland and they would walk the elephants next to the lake. A most unexpected sight, indeed.
